20 I PSAI Association Insight, October 27, 2021 PSAI Board of Directors Nominees (continued from page 19) (continued on page 21) Jason Odom Texas Disposal Systems In 2003 I began my career with Pot O Gold in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Over the years I worked through several major hurricanes. I learned that a strong routed business gives a portable toilets company the ability to work at large special events and disaster related mishaps throughout the country. In 2008 my career took me to Houston, Texas, where I had a great career working at Texas Outhouse. I helped build the company to a state-of-the-art facility and onsite wastewater treatment plant. I now am a Director of Site Services for Texas Disposal Systems and continue to build routed services to a brand that is one of the best in the industry. The PSAI is a great organization and I am proud to be a member. I have ample experience from driving, logistics management, team building, revenue building, compliance and overcoming the challenges an operator deals with in our industry. Throughout my career, I have reached out to the PSAI. I am appreciative of the guidance and direction I have always been given and would like to serve in a capacity to give back to those in our industry by sharing what I have learned from the PSAI as well as hands on as an operator. I believe that a governing body like the PSAI needs strong leaders and I am humble by the opportunity to serve on the board should I be elected. The future of the PSAI is strong and will continue to be with great leadership, I believe I can offer a wealth of knowledge to the board. Joshua Perez A Clean Portoco Joshua Perez, owner of Redi 2 Go Rentals (not a PSAI member company), established in January 2020, provides shower trailers, laundry trailers, and temporary fencing. He also assists his parent's company A Clean Portoco in the Rio Grande Valley and Laredo as the Safety and IT manager. With 2 decades experience in the Portable Sanitation market, from 2000 as A Clean Portoco General Manager and in 2019 Texas Disposal System Manager of Site Services. He was born in Houston, Texas, and grew up in the Rio Grande Valley, later attending Texas Tech University and residing in the central Texas area. A strong believer in treating others the way you want to be treated, something his grandmother instilled in him, has led Joshua to pursue a helping hand in the PSAI. Since he attended his first PSAI show in 2005, Joshua has been privileged enough to meet some wonderful and knowledgeable members of the PSAI. Those members gave him on-the-job education of the sanitation industry and how to look outside the box for answers. Joshua hopes we can continue to grow the PSAI and give the next generation of members a warm and welcoming home to learn from our history and make the future brighter.
