PSAI Association Insight, October 27, 2021 I 21 Jacky Ward A-1 Sewage Services (1989) Ltd I am proud to have been nominated to let my name stand for the position of Director with the PSAI. I have had the pleasure of being involved in the industry for 27 years. I am currently the Portable Toilet Manager of my family owned and operated company. I have attended several PSAI events, OASIS Conventions, and the WWETT Show. This opportunity has allowed me to participate in a multitude of round table and education seminars where I had the pleasure of meeting great people and creating lifelong friendships. I currently serve on Board of Directors for PSAI along with 3 committees, the portable toilet committee and events committee for the OASIS. I believe this experience has prepared me to be a great contributor to the board and industry. I have achieved my PSAI Certification and I have enjoyed working with the PSAI and OASIS to implement similar training practises in Ontario. My primary objective would be to continue to promote the PSAI and its certification program as the standard in excellence for training and education within North America. I would also like to see International growth continue and a mentorship program for new professionals within our membership. PSAI Board of Directors Nominees (continued from page 20) Supplier Candidates (1 Board Spot) Wendy Cross ServiceCore I am grateful and excited to be running for the PSAI Board of Directors again. Last year when I had a new career opportunity and made the change from working for an Operator company to becoming part of a Supplier company, I needed to resign from my position as Vice President of the Board. As thrilled as I was for my new opportunity with ServiceCore, it pained me to have to resign my Board position. Working alongside other leaders in this industry through the PSAI Board and volunteer positions has been a valued highlight of my career. I am passionate about all that the PSAI has to offer everyone in our industry. The educational and training pieces available and the knowledge shared are of huge value. But it is the connections and sincere relationships that are immeasurable. I feel that the experience I have as both an Operator and now Supplier provide me with a view and voice that can benefit the forward movement of the PSAI in many ways. I would look forward to another opportunity to continue to share my voice with this loyal, hardworking, and engaging industry. (continued on page 22)
