For 50 years, the PSAI has been extremely fortunate to have been led by a group of dynamic, inspirational, and industrious leaders; however, this should come as no surprise because our entire membership and our industry are composed of such individuals. In this chapter, PSAI presidents and executive directors will be highlighted. Presidents lead the Board of Directors, communicate to the membership, work on association goals, and "other duties" as they arise—all while owning, managing, and/or working with their own portable restroom company with its myriad of complexities, responsibilities, customer, and employee responsibilities. Executive directors (ED) lead the PSAI day-in and day-out, year after year. Even as the composition of the Board of Directors changes, the ED and staff diligently work to maintain the responsibilities of the Association. From member communication, new member recruitment, preparing for events, accounting, and a host of other duties, this person and their staff keep the PSAI running as they have for the last 50 years. (continued on page 2) (continued on page 7) The PSAI's virtual roundtables have routinely been the most popular attended sessions at PSAI events. In the time of COVID-19, we started hosting virtual roundtable discussions to keep the useful exchange of information going even when not at an event. This has taken an already popular resource and made it bigger! No matter if it is online or at an event—when professionals in the industry come together to share information, it is sure to be successful. Roundtable discussions allow participants to share real-life experiences, ask questions, and learn from one another. In addition, you hear information from experts who facilitate the discussion. New this year! To make moving around the roundtables a bit easier, we have created modules that include topics that may align more directly with the work you are doing.
