ASSOCIATIONINSIGHT Portable Sanitation Association International News BIWEEKLY EDITION JUNE 10, 2020 Page 16 We Want Your Photos!…continued from page 15 This is Where You Come In It is not feasible for PSAI staff to run around the world and grab photos from our amazing Members. You probably have those photos already! Photos you put on Facebook, in your own business scrapbook or just sent to a co-worker. Consider photos that range from: • unique places you put a portable unit, • interesting individuals near a portable unit, • strange events you serviced, • incredible ways you used your equipment at an event, or • just your employees hanging out at work. Our industry has a unique opportunity to show off what happens and you likely have already taken those photos. The Ask The ask is simple. Just send your industry photos or short video stories to the PSAI and allow us to share them on Instagram. You can send them directly to toddg@psai.org or to info@psai.org. Include info about the photo and your business. Not only can you promote the portable sanitation industry, you can shine a light on your business. If the PSAI can become as successful on Instagram as the American Welding Society, just know that out of our 118,000 followers, many will be people in the general public. Our original plan to grow our Instagram page was to promote the unique places portable sanitation shows up during the summer months. This is usually festivals, concerts, fairs, and sporting events. To the extent possible, we will still do that, and in fact have many posts about that already. However, as we all know, there will be fewer of those events this year. Right now, the best way to show off our industry is to put a spotlight on those who are driving the day-to-day efforts to keep customers well supplied, serviced, and safe. Whether you are a supplier putting the finishing touches on a new product or an operator showing off a trailer holding many units going out to be delivered, show yourself off! This is not the time to be humble! If you have any questions or want to talk about any possible submissions, contact us any time. Our goal is to promote the portable sanitation industry's very real value and hopefully have a little fun at the same time. v
