What is the most important reason you are a (supplier ) Member of the PSAI? Networking , And hopefully for the betterment of our industry To gain more knowledge about the portable restroom industry. Supporting the industry that provides us with our customers and improving the image of our industry. Engagement with our customers and support of the community. To show support for operators in the portable sanitation business. It is a valuable support tool for anyone in the business o r thinking about getting into it. Being a member as a vendor shows that we value the organization as well. Support of the industry My company subcontracts portable sanitation and I want to know as much about the industry as I possibly can. Competition are members Supporting our customers It's the right thing to do !! Networking opportunities with our industry leaders. Trade shows, education events and ability to further the image of portable sanitation. Name recognition and networking As a supplier to show support to the organization and industry to keep up to date with what is going on in the industry Nonmembers: Misperception or lack of value? Turning now to nonmembers, it is clear there are some companies that are willing to join the association but just need time or a "gentle nudge" from an influencer they resp ect. Of those companies that are seemingly not interested in joining, or who are unsure about joining, there are clearly some misperceptions at work in many cases. Some of the misperceptions appear to be related to events that occurred more than 5 years ag o, suggesting that outreach aimed at conveying how things are today may be helpful. Other misperceptions seem to stem from lack of current information or, in a few cases, preconceived notions. While there may be nothing we can do to change some ideas, it i s possible that many of those people lacking current information may be amenable to membership if it was delivered by a trusted source and it addressed their concerns or misperceptions.
