The Latest in Toilet Innovations
An Idaho man has created a toilet seat that
actually gets clean when wiped down before use
Another new toilet invention is hitting the
commercial market and this one is all about
keeping you clean. Rob Poleki from Idaho is in
the final patenting stages with his toilet seat
called the Washie. With a wave of your hand
the seat dispenses a cleaning solution that you
then use to wipe the seat clean. The seat will be
available first to gas stations, hotels, and
casinos and will cost less than $40 each.

When Making Arrangements, Don't Forget the Facilities
Kenya's governor is addressing the need for restrooms
when laying a loved one to their final rest
Siaya County in Kenya is proudly open - defecation free
after a successful door - to - door educational campaign
last year. Almost all homes now have a toilet, but
Governor Cornel Rasanga saw a need for more access
in cases of mass group events, such as funerals. They
created an initiative to provide free portable toilets at
funerals. "We also want to ensure that all markets have
toilets. The habit of open defecation must completely
end", says Rasanga.
