Mr. John of Pittsburgh Announces Promotions Mr. John is excited to announce the pro- motion of David Kropf to Director of Operations, and Joseph Hatherley Jr. to Director of Safety & Compliance, effective July 19, 2021. David Kropf joined Mr. John in 2015 serving as Operations Manager for the last 6 years. Over that time David helped transform portable toilet operations, enabling the company to achieve 34% organic growth. David has successfully overseen numerous large-scale events, product expansion, and process improvement strategies. David restructured operations through the development of a strong team of supervisors and specialists to manage logistics, service, quality, and performance. Most recently David played pivotal roles in transitioning Mr. John's onsite job management software to Salesforce Field Service and moving the company to its new headquarters in Neville Township, PA. Joseph Hatherley Jr. joined Mr. John in 2012 and most recently served as Operations Manager of Tri-Boro Trailer & Mr. John Septic. Among his accomplish- ments Joe developed the company's fleet maintenance and state inspection procedures, managed major updates to operations facilities, and designed and built a custom truck service station and brine box. Under Joe's leadership the company posted a remarkable 51% decrease in fleet maintenance costs in a single year. Joe has a passion for company safety, a wealth of operations and fleet management experience, and brings energy and enthusiasm to his new role. Mr. John has been a family-owned and operated business located in the greater Pittsburgh area since 1964. The company's expertise in temporary sanitation and dedication to providing a safe, comfortable environment to work, play, and celebrate has made it a market leader. Mr. John offers convenient solutions for portable toilets, luxury restroom trailers, mobile office trailers, portable storage containers, temporary fence, wastewater pumping, water delivery, and other site services. Mr. John is led by Chris McCarthy, PSAI's Standards and Guidance Committee co-chair. Both his predecessor, Michael McCarthy, and Mr. John's current Vice President, Jeff Wolfarth, are past presidents of the PSAI Board of Directors.
