The PSAI is the go-to resource for best practices. Our series of three basic training courses for service personnel will ensure your team leaders and staff know how to do things according to industry standards, giving you peace of mind and a foundation on which to build. The courses are offered both separately and as a series. When taken together and followed by successful completion of the certification exam, these three courses will satisfy the licensing requirements in the states of Illinois and Georgia. They are also accepted for continuing education credit in many other states. Take just one course, or take all three and sit for the exam. It's up to you. Our Hands on Learning Labs and Roundtable Discussions are Back! Everyone has their own learning curve, and their companies have their own issues. That's why we offer two different ways to choose the topics that matter to you and to learn from what others are doing. With all these options, you can customize a learning path that makes sense for you. • Hands on Learning Labs (HOLLway sessions) debuted at last year's Convention and were a huge hit. This year we've added new topics—the list is on the website—and kept a few fan favorites as well. We'll still be using real equipment on the tradeshow floor, watching demos and trying things out with coaching from others with more expertise. • Roundtables have long been a popular staple of PSAI events. We've got more than a dozen topics from which to choose and a lot of wisdom in the room. Come and share yours. Saturday Focus on the Fundamentals. The tradeshow may be over Friday night, but there's still more learning available on Saturday morning. First you'll wake up to hearing about a new program for attracting and retaining front line workers. Then you'll choose one of two in-depth workshops. These are topics that make a huge difference to your bottom line. They take a little time to unpack, and we've allowed two hours for these sessions. You'll be done in time for lunch. • Track I: Pump Workshop—Maintaining and Rebuilding Pumps. This intensive workshop will dig deep into how to select and maintain your pumps. You'll also learn how to do a rebuild that can save you thousands by extending the life of your equipment. • Track II: The Cost of Doing Business. Make more money than you spend and you're successful, right? This workshop will help you dive into the various costs for portable sanitation companies. We will examine ways to manage and account for them so you can set prices that effectively reflect your business strategy (low cost leader versus value differentiation) and maximize your cash flow options.
