WEEKLY EDITION NOVEMBER 20, 2019
Wendy Cross, Arnold's Environmental, took her turn at the moonwalk contest while the DJ spun
"Billie Jean." Other games included a chance to pin a flag on the moon, moon bingo, and an
exercise from NASA on
how to prioritize your
resources in the event you
are ever stranded on the
moon. Meanwhile,
conversation flowed for the
partiers, food was
abundant, and everyone
got a chance to remember
why they loved Pop Rocks
as a kid.
After a long day, attendees retired to the Black
Swan Nightclub for a moon landing-themed
gathering called, "Houston: We Have a Party!"
Around 90 attendees joined the event filled with
food, music, dancing, games — and the PSAI's
signature event cocktail, the "Buzzed Aldrin."
Derek Pauling, Biff's Inc., sports some outer space-
themed hair and sips the "Buzzed Aldrin" while co-
owner Heather Pauling shows the camera what the
woman-in-the-moon probably looks like. Heather took
home the best costume prize at the end of the night
for her imaginative look channeling Marilyn Monroe.
