WEEKLY EDITION NOVEMBER 20, 2019 In the final session of the event, PSAI Executive Director Karleen Kos (upper right) reported on the preliminary findings of the PSAI's waste disposal survey set to be published in January 2020. A panel of industry members then discussed the waste disposal dilemmas, options, and lessons learned in their careers. Panelists were (lower left, l-r) Joe Payne, Terry's Pumpin' and Potties; Martin Zeltner, PolyJohn Canada; Steve Dickey, Texas Outhouse; and Ron Crosier, Crosier's Inc. That was so much fun, let's do it again! Mark your calendars now for Nuts & Bolts 2020. It is scheduled for November 5-8 in Reno, Nevada. The full schedule will be announced July 2020. (Left) Tim Fusco, TrackAbout, and Karleen Kos, Executive Director, appeared as fellow astronauts-in-costume. (Right) Each year the PSAI makes gifts to charities related to portable sanitation and first responders. On Friday morning the PSAI presented a check for $3,500 to the Houston Food Bank, representing approximately half of the proceeds from Thursday's Urgent Run. A similar check will be presented to Karibu Loo at a later date. Chris Payne, Vice President at NPR Rents, delivered a session on "Safety before the Truck Rolls." Here he discusses the importance of outfitting company vehicles with equipment that sets drivers up for safety success. PAGE 13 Recapping the 2019 Nuts & Bolts Educational Conference, Part II
