Keeping clear and open lines of
communication with your customer is
going to be your most powerful tool when
coordinating and executing special events.
Before the event: It's imperative that you
meet with the customer well ahead of the
event is to occur to go over:
• Key factors such as event type,
duration, and expected attendance
patterns
• Special placement instructions
• Other circumstances and
requirements that may need to be
considered
It's also important to make sure
that the expectations for both
parties are expressed clearly and
concisely. You should never
assume anything. It's better to give
your customer too much
information than too little.
During the event: It's important to make yourself (or someone else from the company) available to the
customer in case of an emergenc y. Even if nothing comes up, it's important to give the customer peace of
mind that someone is only a phone call away.
