P AGE 15 Matthew Wasson Joins Masport Team Matthew was appointed President of Masport Vacuum Pump System in July 2019 after a successful twenty - year career with Cummins where his roles spanned finance, distribution, strategic development and operations. Nearly fifteen of those years were with the Distribution Business Unit, working with operations and sales personnel, distributors and dealers, OEM's , and end user customers. Products sold through the distribution channel ranged from off - the - shelf parts and components, to highly engineered systems to custom designed packages for OEM's. As an experienced executive leader, he is passionate about building high performing teams with a foundation of integrity and turning strategic vision into tactical direction, with a constant eye on long - term objectives. His role at Masport is to continue to transform the business by fine tuning the vision and strategy and looking at how and where we can continue to improve.
