Although the toilets have been on display for over a decade, city officials are now threating legal action if they are not taken down. The woman believes festivals should be more proactive than reactive when creating ADA compliant events. The Director of Advocacy and Community Access says the problem is "the Americans with Disabilities Act is enforcea ble upon complaint, so if nobody complains, if no one says well this is inaccessible and it's a problem, then there will be no enforcement and things kind of continue in the status quo."
