NEW: Join a HOLLway Team
KOS CONTINUED FROM PAGE 1
How it works:
• Sessions will take place simultaneously in a specially
designated area o f the showroom at the Convention on
Thursday, March 29 between 10:00 am and 12:30 pm
• Sessions wi ll be 30 minutes long with a 10 - minute break
between. Each session will be delivered four times.
• Attendee s will thus be able to attend sessions on four of the
ei ght topic areas, rotating between sites in a designated area
of the show room floor.
• Ad hoc teams of volunteer operators and suppliers (ideally 2
or more peopl e) will develop a plan for a 30 - minute session.
The plan mu st include learning objectives,
speake rs/facilita tors, conform to space and time
requirements, and identify any special needs.
• Though the sessions are non - commercial , suppliers and
operators are invited and encouraged to use equipment to
demonstrate ideas and techniques.
• A member of the staff or a board - designated volunteer will
serve as a liaison between the team and the rest of the
Convention planning
How to participate:

above areas and is willing to commit to assisting with planning and

M ore news to come:
Last spring the PSAI formed a SWAT team to help the Board and staff make significant changes to the Annual Convention
and Trade Show.
The SWAT team (an acronym for S trategically W inning A ctivities and T actics) is compri sed of volunteer representatives of
both operator and supplier companies, Board leaders, and staff members with a common goal: to help make the PSAI's
Annual Convention and Trade Show a must - attend industry event.
Over the next few months we'll have more announcements for the 2019 show – and the group is already working on
additional concepts for 2020 and beyond. Watch Association Insight for details! -- KK
