WEEKLY EDITION AUGUST 1, 2018
Joke of the Week
A cowboy walked into a saloon and was surprised to find it empty aside from a lonely bar keep. Naturally, he asked where
everyone was.
"They're at a hanging," was the
terse answer.
"Oh … Who's being hanged?"
asked the cowboy.
"Brown-Paper Pete," was the
reply.
"Ain't never heard of anyone
being called 'Brown-Paper.' Why's
he called that?"
"Because all his clothes are made
of brown paper. He wears a
brown-paper hat, brown-paper
shoes, brown-paper shirt and
brown-paper trousers."
"So what's he being hung for?"
queried the cowboy.
"Rustling."

Catching Folks on the Go
WGN show host interviews people coming out of
portable units
We don't know much about the WGN-TV show "Man of the
People," other than it's based in Chicago and airs Saturday
nights on the superstation. But in this episode, host and
somewhat funnyman Pat Tomasulo does his best "gotcha" bit
when he attempts to interview people after they've just used
one of a bank of portable restrooms. Bathroom humor at
perhaps its not-so-finest
