W EEKLY EDITION JAN 3, 2018 Quite the Exotic Recyclable Who knew that a panda could produce paper from its poo? New to the Chinese market, you can now purchase paper products made from panda poop! The Qianwei Fengsheng Paper Company is working with the China Conservation and Research Center for the Giant Panda to capture and recycl e all the poo and food waste. The chemistry needed to turn bamboo into paper happens right inside a panda's digestive tract, and with 10kg of poo a day plus 50kg of food waste spit out from each panda, that's a fine paper product - making machine!
