WEEKLY EDITION AUG 2, 2017 Getting Down to the Nuts and Bolts…continued By Karleen Kos, PSAI Executive Director Something new this year will be the first annual Urgent Run/Walk. This will be a fun event where you can meet your friends and customers, get some fresh air, exercise, and enjoy one of our beautiful lake trails. (Yes, we know it is Minneapolis in November and we have an indoor backup plan in case of inclement weather.) The purpose of the event is to raise awareness for World Portable Sanitation Day and World Toilet Day on November 19 and to raise money for our sanitation-related charity Friends of Ngong Road. You will be hearing more about all of these things in upcoming issues of Association Insight. Check out future issues for more details on each of these events or give us a call at the office if you have questions. The location and program for Nuts and Bolts is determined each year by a committee of volunteers including both operators and suppliers. They look at feedback from Members and attendees in making decisions about each year's event, and then charge the PSAI staff with carrying out their direction. If you're interested in serving on the event committee, please let Executive Director Karleen Kos (karleenk@psai.org) know. Registration is open! Click here to view the registration forms on the PSAI website. NUTS AND BOLTS COVERAGE CONTINUED ON PAGE 4 PAGE 3
