DEADLINE for P re paring for Extremes in
Portable Sanitation
Designed specifically for those who need continuing
education credit, this course addresses the need to prepare
for extreme conditions wherever you do business. This session
will cover how to handle heat and wind effectively. If disaster
strikes, this training will also help you plan and protect your
company, while ensuring you can respond to the opportunities
that may arise. Whether you are an old hand at preparing for
extremes or relatively new to this aspect of the business, this
90 - minute training is for you.
June 1: PSAI Basic Service Technician
Training Course
This course, which has evolved over the years, is designed to teach the basic competencies required for success in the role o f a
portable sanitation professional. It includes training, reference material and a glossary of over 125 industry terms. Sections on industry
standards and equipment cover material on portable restrooms (pre - inspection, cleaning, delivery, placement, pickup), hand wash
stations, freshwater flush units, recirculating flush units, and restroom trailers. Other topics include disposal, winter service proce dures,
and spill handling procedures. All attendees will receive documentation of the course completion and the contact hours invo lved.
This course is recommended preparation for the PSAI Certification Exam. While the course and exam are not requirements of one
another, those who would like to have their course attendees certified following this training should contact Jan at the PSA I office to
set up a remote testing procedure.
