By Jeff Wigley, Co - Chair of the PSAI Certificat ion Commission
Finally, the crucial area of customer satisfaction is
examined in terms of effective communication,
industry terms, and conflict management. Once
again, the Service Technician is the vital link in this
area. This knowledge area is the ke y to insuring
that our customers are satisfied and that they
value the relationship with our companies.
This Survey should take between 20 - 30 minutes to
complete and the results will ultimately lead to
producing a new Certification Exam for Route
Service Technicians. The results will also inform
other areas of the PSAI's value to you: from providing valuable insight into areas where training can be
beefed up, to ideas for event seminars and newsletter articles that will help everyone do better at their
jo bs. For this reason, we need for these Surveys to be done in a thorough and complete manner by
Service Technicians themselves. Those who se main task is to perform the job of ROUTE SERVICE
TECHNICIAN are the experts that we seek.
We have a minimum target of 200 completed surveys that encompass an equal proportion of responses
from the various geographic regions in the US and Canada. In addition, we need responses from large,
medium, and smaller companies. Service Technician responses are needed from star t - up companies as
well as well - established entities. Both PSAI and non - PSAI Companies are needed in this endeavor.
The deadline for these Surveys to be completed is June 30, 2017 .
