7 I PSAI Association Insight, December 1, 2021 decades experience in the Portable Sanitation market, from 2000 as A Clean Portoco General Manager and in 2019 Texas Disposal System Manager of Site Services. He was born in Houston, Texas, and grew up in the Rio Grande Valley, later attending Texas Tech University and residing in the central Texas area. A strong believer in treating others the way you want to be treated, something his grandmother instilled in him, has led Joshua to pursue a helping hand in the PSAI. Since he attended his first PSAI show in 2005, Joshua has been privileged enough to meet some wonderful and knowledgeable members of the PSAI. Those members gave him on-the-job education of the sanitation industry and how to look outside the box for answers. Joshua hopes we can continue to grow the PSAI and give the next generation of members a warm and welcoming home to learn from our history and make the future brighter. Jacky Ward A-1 Sewage Services (1989) Ltd I am proud to have been nominated to let my name stand for the position of Director with the PSAI. I have had the pleasure of being involved in the industry for 27 years. I am currently the Portable Toilet Manager of my family owned and operated company. I have attended several PSAI events, OASIS Conventions, and the WWETT Show. This opportunity has allowed me to participate in a multitude of round table and education seminars where I had the pleasure of meeting great people and creating lifelong friendships. I currently serve on Board of Directors for PSAI along with 3 committees, the portable toilet committee and events committee for the OASIS. I believe this experience has prepared me to be a great contributor to the board and industry. I have achieved my PSAI Certification and I have enjoyed working with the PSAI and OASIS to implement similar training practises in Ontario. My primary objective would be to continue to promote the PSAI and its certification program as the standard in excellence for training and education within North America. I would also like to see International growth continue and a mentorship program for new professionals within our membership. Supplier Candidates (1 Board Spot) Wendy Cross ServiceCore I am grateful and excited to be running for the PSAI Board of Directors again. Last year when I had a new career opportunity and made the change from am a Director of Site Services for Texas Disposal Systems and continue to build routed services to a brand that is one of the best in the industry. The PSAI is a great organization and I am proud to be a member. I have ample experience from driving, logistics management, team building, revenue building, compliance and overcoming the challenges an operator deals with in our industry. Throughout my career, I have reached out to the PSAI. I am appreciative of the guidance and direction I have always been given and would like to serve in a capacity to give back to those in our industry by sharing what I have learned from the PSAI as well as hands on as an operator. I believe that a governing body like the PSAI needs strong leaders and I am humble by the opportunity to serve on the board should I be elected. The future of the PSAI is strong and will continue to be with great leadership, I believe I can offer a wealth of knowledge to the board.
