PSAI Welcomes New
Executive Director
The PSAI is proud to welcome its new Executive
Director, Veronica Crosier. Veronica joins the PSAI
staff from southern West Virginia, where her family has
operated Crosier's Sanitary Service for over 50 years.
While Veronica's career path took her outside the
family business, she does have fond memories of her
dad picking her up in a pump truck after school, and
helping her mom stamp envelopes in the days before
electronic invoicing. "Serving the PSAI membership is
an incredible opportunity to honor the industry that's
sustained families like mine for decades,'' says Crosier.
Veronica received her Bachelor of Arts from Mount
Holyoke College in 2013. Since then, she's worked
in environmental research, volunteer management,
experiential education, and program development.
Her proudest achievement to date was the creation
of a high-adventure camp for at-risk youth in
southern West Virginia that received the "Best of
the Blue Ridge" award in 2019 and, through her
fundraising efforts, allowed 50 percent of youth to
attend free of cost. Most recently she served as the
Workplace Wellness Director for a health-focused
non-profit in West Virginia where she provided
consultation and technical support to employers
statewide in developing workplace wellness
strategies.
Look for Veronica at the Nuts & Bolts Conference
next week!
