the sidelines and into the game with
more than 200 pieces of memorabilia,
rare photos, and one-of-a-kind documents
from the Pro Football Hall of Fame's
archives and collection.
From the game's early beginnings to
today's top players and teams, the exhibit
tells the story of the professional sport
with an incredible interactive experience.
Organized by the Pro Football Hall of
Fame in association with NFL Films, the
exhibit brings together an extraordinary
collection including the Vince Lombardi
trophy; a 1917 game ball used by
Jim Thorpe and the Canton Bulldogs;
a football and leather helmet dating
to the early origins of the game;
Saints kicker Tom Dempsey's famous
kicking shoe created for his half foot;
and turf (plus other objects) from the
"Immaculate Reception" game and so
much more!
Downtown District
One other location I am sure you will
want to visit is the downtown district.
The downtown district has been revitalized
by many new attractions, highlighted by
the 190-foot SkyWheel that lights up the
Myrtle Beach skyline. The largest Ferris
wheel on the East Coast offers scenic
views of the Atlantic Ocean and the
entire Myrtle Beach area, but it's the area
right around the SkyWheel that shines
the most. A 1.2-mile wooden walkway
spans the beachfront on one side and
open-air cafés and shops on the other.
Left abandoned when the Pavilion
closed in 2006, the downtown area has
been refurbished and is back and better
than ever thanks to the new Boardwalk.
It's a great place to stroll or to rock 'n' roll!
I am sure that the content of the Nuts &
Bolts Educational Conference and the
ability to see all your friends in the PSAI
is already enough to get you to come to
Myrtle Beach. But don't forget about the
