24 I PSAI Association Insight, October 13, 2021 Discover Myrtle Beach! By Todd Ginter, PSAI Marketing Director The PSAI Nuts & Bolts Educational Conference is your chance to discover the beautiful and unique locations where we host our events. If you were a reader of this newsletter back in 2019 and earlier, you may remember that we would often highlight the cities where the PSAI was hosting events. We understand that when you travel for a conference or convention, you may want to add a little fun to your getaway. All work and no play is no fun, right? That is why we take the time to promote the local area—so you know what fun is in store for you when the day of learning, testing, or networking is over. When it comes to a beautiful location like Myrtle Beach, I could fill this whole newsletter with attractions and interesting places you can visit. To save space and your time, I have pared down the information to just a few locations that I believe would be of most interest of attendees to Nuts & Bolts this November 2-5. Broadway at the Beach The first area I would like to highlight is an area called Broadway at the Beach. This area is near the conference hotel and can be accessed very easily. Believe me, during your time in Myrtle Beach this is one area you will want to visit. While reviewing visitors' reviews, Broadway at the Beach stood alone as by far the most popular tourist destination in the entire Myrtle Beach area. With its great location, convenient parking and wide range of outstanding activities for visitors of all ages, it's the perfect place to make magical memories of your own. This multi-purpose complex is home to some of the best entertainment, dining, and shopping on the Grand Strand. Featuring top attractions such as WonderWorks and Ripley's Aquarium, Broadway features hundreds of businesses surrounding a large lake. Check out the nightlife at a dozen clubs in Celebrity Square, dine at some of the best restaurants in town, and shop at major national outlets and locally owned stores. Broadway at the Beach also hosts special events that attract millions to this popular venue annually. The surrounding area also is surrounded by theaters and entertainment venues that allow you to park once and play all day. One new attraction is the Pro Football's Hall of Fame exhibit called Gridiron Glory. I know so many of the PSAI members are football fans—and what better place to visit during the heart of the NFL season! This new attraction takes fans right through (continued on page 25)
