First, he argued, "What if you need it?" Second, this type of vandalism is illegal. Third, it makes a mess. Reasons four and five are tied together. The fourth and fifth reason to keep units upright? Tipping them is "stupid" and "you can bet that if you are dumb enough to knock over a porta-potty, what goes around will come around for you." Karma will prevail. Read the full story here. How to Recruit Truck Drivers As we have heard a lot recently, truck drivers are in short supply. A recent article in Bulk Transporter offers four ideas to help recruit younger drivers to replace the aging workforce: 1) Lower the age at which youth can drive a truck (it's now 21); 2) Do a better job of recruiting women and minorities, groups that are nearly unrepresented in trucking; 3) Find creative ways to improve driver compensation, including varied options for pay and scheduling; and 4) Use technology to attract younger drivers who welcome these advancement in driving. Portable Toilet Is Lucky Charm About two weeks ago, Derek Munter, a University of Alabama student and dedicated Razorback baseball fan, missed his team's first two home runs again the visiting Nebraska squad because he was off in a Hog Pen porta- potty. Was he upset? Did he stop drinking so he could watch the rest of the game? No. Since his team had done so well while he was answering nature's call, Derek figured he had better stay in the portable toilet to ensure a Razorback win. Happily, that worked.
