Charmin brand toilet paper is auctioning off three original digital artworks. Each creation is a non-fungible token (NFT), which features an ornamented roll of Charmin and a physical display so buyers can display the NFT "in their bathrooms alongside real rolls." Businesses Ask for Portable Toilets Four businesses in the Newbury section of Plum Island in Massachusetts are asking their town to install portable restrooms this year before Memorial Day. To offset the expense of adding units earlier than usual, the four businesses have agreed to split the cost. Only one business has an indoor toilet, and has been inundated on nice days this spring. That's a problem, the owner says, because, "with COVID, you can only allow so many people inside." Though the town has denied the request, the business owners are still hoping to get relief. Read the full story here. Porta-Potty NFT Sells for $6,500 Rapper FN Meka, a self-proclaimed artificial intelligence rapper, has a colorful persona. He allegedly drives a gold- plated Rolls Royce, a Gucci-printed Tesla truck, and a slime green Lamborghini. He's even released a few of what one writer called "semi-successful songs." Now, he's added NFT selling to his rap sheet. His first virtual drop: "the SUPER TOILET," a 1 of 1 Lamborghini-styled porta-potty. Dutch DJ Don Diablo purchased the non-fungible token for $6,500.
