He is just one of many city residents who are homeless. Fortunately, patrons can also use one of two portable toilets the soup kitchen has provided outside the building. Our Daily Bread's executive director explains, "It just became sort of the new way of doing business. Since we couldn't bring people in, we had to bring those amenities out to them." Vandals Stink Up Area and Pay Two young men are behind bars in Picton, Ontario, after local police charged them with trespassing on private property at night and mischief. The men were allegedly looking through parked cars at a new development in the wee hours of the morning, and purportedly tipped over a portable toilet at a construction site for good measure. The men, ages 19 and 21, are due to appear in front of the Ontario Court of Justice in Picton on April 21, 2021. Read the full story here. The Latest in PPE Portable restrooms have inspired the latest in personal protective equipment! Wearable Weather Pods were created after their founder took refuge inside a portable toilet during a rain storm at his daughter's soccer game in 2010 and they quickly took off as a product for outdoor events. During the pandemic, new designs have literally proven to be lifesavers, as healthcare workers have used one new product as intubation pods and fast food workers are using another design for curbside ordering and delivery.
