Every social media platform offers some degree of analytics for you to see. These analytics will tell you everything from what time of day your audience is online, or whether they're located in areas that are being massively impacted by the coronavirus outbreak. You can also see what messages had the most reaction and which ones didn't perform as well. This can help you tailor your messaging and presence on social media to be as helpful as possible when your users need it most. What not to do Don't try to profit off a crisis. This does not look good for your business. If possible, offer as much as you can to help your customers (discounts, extras, etc.), but don't take advantage of the situation. You are using social media to build trust and loyalty. Don't start off with putting a bad taste in people's mouths about you. The bottom line: Use social media to let your customers know you are working in their best interests. Let's face it, the general public does not know a lot about the portable sanitation industry and the more positive information you can provide, the better you will look. v
