Citizens are less likely to use a restroom if they believe it is dirty or foul smelling. Therefore, if portable sanitation
companies take pride in knowing that their units are clean and fresh smelling, that will attract more people to use
the restrooms instead of leaving the event.
Along the same lines, if all companies follow suit that one unit can accommodate 50 people, there will be enough
units for the event size and that will minimize a wait time between users and will also alleviate the possibility of an
overflow or foul smell.
In order to spread knowledge about the benefits that portable restrooms provide for the earth, these companies
could and should provide educational information with each portable restroom rental. They could start with
information such as the fact that just from portable restrooms alone, 45 billion gallons of water is saved every year.
That way people start talking about the benefits of portable restrooms and the need for the portable restroom
industry.
Organizations, such as the PSAI, currently hold conventions and conferences to help educate their Members and
non-members.
As a group, we agreed that if we continue the conversation about the benefits of portable restrooms and their
support for the earth, together we can change the way the world views the portable restroom industry. Now, back
