ASSOCIATIONINSIGHT Portable Sanitation Association International News BIWEEKLY EDITION JUNE 10, 2020 Page 9 PSAI Announces Bi-Weekly Virtual Roundtable Discussions Focusing on Hot Topics and Best Practices The PSAI is pleased to announce a new, ongoing Member benefit. Beginning June 18, 2020 and biweekly thereafter, a live virtual roundtable discussion will be available for all PSAI Members on Thursdays at 12 noon Central Time. The sessions are free for Members in all benefit tiers, and there is no limit to the number of people who can attend. Each interactive session will include an update on the latest developments affecting the portable sanitation industry, and each will offer a deeper dive into one or more topics relevant to successfully running a portable sanitation company. The roundtables will also provide ample opportunity for attendees to share openly, ask questions, and provide feedback to others. Recordings will be available for Members unable to attend in person. The idea for the bi-weekly virtual roundtables began nearly two years ago when the Committee overseeing the PSAI's Members' Business Success Initiative (MSI) conceived of a plan for adapting the Association's popular in-person discussions to the Internet. Between 2019 and early 2020 the PSAI had offered a limited number of sessions. In March of this year, when COVID-19 appeared on the scene, the Association responded by offering a weekly virtual roundtable session aimed at helping Members navigate the ever-changing landscape. Since that time the Association has offered a weekly virtual roundtable discussion aimed at helping Members stay on top of what is happening in our industry, providing the best information about supply chain issues, and offering a forum for discussion. These sessions have been attended by an average of 40-60 portable sanitation professionals from around the world. "We are always on the lookout for ways to add value for our Members," says Wendy Cross, Vice President of the PSAI Board and co-chair of the MSI. "These roundtables will give portable sanitation professionals a forum for interacting, raising questions, and exploring best practices at no added cost." PSAI Executive Director Karleen Kos says the PSAI will publish a calendar with topics that will be highlighted at each session, with discussion led by an industry expert. The agenda will also be flexible enough to accommodate emerging issues and hot topics as they come up. "We want our Members to know they can get answers quickly from the best in the industry." All sessions require pre-registration at PSAI.org. v
