PSAI Announces Scholarship Winners…continued from page 5
Graduating high schoolers must have a grade-point average of 3.0 or higher and a score of at least 1000 on their
SAT or 21 on their ACT. Most importantly, all winners submit a cogently worded and thoughtfully presented essay
that highlights their beliefs about the importance and value of portable sanitation.
Funding for the Scholarship Program
PSAI Members are the backbone of our Scholarship Program.
Without their ongoing donations, this type of educational support
would not be possible. The PSAI Board Scholarship Commission
is key as well. Without their hours of work developing policies,
upholding standards, and promoting fundraising campaigns, these
scholarships would not be available to help Members employees
and their families pursue higher education opportunities with less
financial strain. We owe these dedicated Members and volunteers so
many thanks.
Over the next five issues of Association Insight, we will share more
information about each of this year's scholarship winners and print a copy of their winning essay. We hope the
essay and information will inspire you to either support the scholarship program, or help a future student apply for
his or her PSAI scholarship. We value the chance to promote brighter futures for deserving students. To find out
more about the scholarship program, please contact info@psai.org. View this year's winners on page 24! v
