My name is John Marcucci, and I've been an account manager for Walex Products since 2002. My first week at Walex was spent attending a PSAI trade show in Sacramento, California. I now have the pleasure of being on the Board of the PSAI, and this year I am also serving on the Nominating Committee. We are looking for candidates to fill open spots on the Board as some of our current Members' terms expire. What is like being a Board member? Well it does require work and commitment. The largest reward is knowing you are part of a group working on t he behalf of the entire membership speaking with the voice of our industry. As a personal reward, you will get to know and work with some amazing professional fellow Board members. You will be working on projects like improving our industry image, disposal issues, state and federal regulations — to name only a few. So, if you love our industry and want get more involved, I strongly encourage you to become a candidate for the Board. If you want to run but feel the timing is not good – please consider getti ng involved in one our committees. There is always plenty to do, and a committee is a great way to get started.
