It turns out women are disproportionately poop shamed in
western culture. To avoid restroom embarrassment, 71 percent
of women said they go "to great lengths to avoid defecating
— especially in a public washroom." Looks like society needs a
copy of the childhood classic Everybody Poops!

Female Friendly Facilities
As part of the global sanitation crisis, Women are more likely
to be left with restrooms that do not meet their specific
needs. A national NGO says, "Historically, designers were
focused more on the issue of separating people from feces,
you know, it's all about the pit. Not so much about the
experience of the user." What features in portable restrooms
