18 Karat Gold Toilet Stolen
A golden toilet - worth, by some estimates, up to $1.25 million – was
recently stolen from the birthplace of Winston Churchill. The thieves had to
disconnect the functioning toilet before they could transfer it to a van
waiting outside. One arrest has been made, but there are still no leads to
finding the missing throne. Portable restroom operators certainly know the
pain of having a unit stolen -- we guess even people with gold toilets don't
have 24/7 attendants, though they probably should have!
