Heat exhaustion endangers workers both because of the stress on their bodies and because they are at a greater
risk for accidents. When a service technician is suffering from heat exhaustion , his or her senses are decreased,
leading to confusion, delayed response time, and general ly suboptimal performance. Heat stroke can be lethal.
