By Todd Ginter , PSAI Marketing Manager Industry Resources The PSAI offers a Members - only portable sanitation specific resource library online and there is also a comprehensive Industry Resource Directory that is published annually. When you have questions regarding the industry, we want to make sure your membership allows you to have your questions answered quickly and effectively. With the online resource library, examples of articles and information you can find include t itles such as, "Commercial Vehicle and Compliance Safety" and "Quality Control in the Field." The information you can find in the library can be invaluable to your business. The Industry Resource Directory, which is only available to PSAI Members, is a p ublication chock full of information that has information specifically for businesses like yours with your needs in mind that you can't get anywhere else. Standards of Excellence and Influence The PSAI is the recognized leading expert on issues related t o portable sanitation. Members help create, communicate and raise standards in the industry. Members can use the PSAI's "Proud Member" logo to tell customers that you are on board with the PSAI standards of excellence. Being a proud Member also means you have the ability to support the mission of the association and use your own influence to possibly change certain aspects within it through participation on a committee or by being on the Board. You can also use your influence from the knowledge you gained with PSAI membership to influence legislation at the local, state or national level. Educating Consumers The PSAI has information that is readily available that can educate both your customers and the general public about portable sanitation. Resource s like the psai.org website, pamphlets, flyers and decals can help you tell the story in a professional and educated way about portable sanitation. The PSAI is constantly looking into other avenues to promote portable sanit ation to the general public such as social media, events and advertising. Strategic Alliances Because of agreements PSAI has made with the American Rental Association and other organizations, Members have access to additional publications, availability for training programs and also reduced fees to attend the WWETT show.
