Getting the Ball Rolling for the 2019 Trade Show and Convention
RETTERATH CONTINUED FROM PAGE 1
Here is how the process works. First, the PSAI staff puts each supplier's name into a hat that corresponds with their
Membership level. Since we currently have only one titanium supplier, they automatically choo se their space first. (If you want
to be in the running to choose first, now is the time to contact me about an upgrade to titanium!) Then, starting with platin um
Members, and going on to gold and silver, staff draw companies out of the hat,
one by one, un til all suppliers at these levels have been placed in order for space
selection. This drawing process is broadcast live using a web cast so you can watch
the process unfold and be confident that the process was fair to all concerned.
Following the drawin g, there are select dates during which companies at each level
submit their preferences for booth space(s). Preferences will be honored in
accordance with the drawing order. Once the platinum, gold, and silver Members
have chosen their space, the floor is open for bronze Members to choose.
Eventually, nonmembers are offered the option to select space as well.

F irst: we heard you! The event schedule has been adjusted so everything starts a day earlier in the week and will end a day
earlier too. We're still working on the full schedule, but please keep this in mind:
Exhibitor move - in starts Tuesday, March 26, 201 9
The Show opens Wednesday, March 27, 2019
The Show closes Thursday, March 28, 2019
Next: We are focused on adding more educational value for operators and maximizing their understanding of key products
and services in our industry that will help them wit h the business success. So this year at the Convention and Trade Show we
will introduce a new feature. The HOLLway sessions, Hands On Learning Labs, will allow attendees to see, touch, and interact
with equipment, learn processes, and ask questions of expe rts. These sessions will take place during a dedicated period on the
schedule when the show is not otherwise open. A special ad hoc volunteer team comprised of operators and suppliers has
identified many areas of focus and have chosen these topics for this year's HOLLway sessions:
