PSAI Events are Good – And Survey Reveals Opportunities to

We asked, "Why did you attend the Convention and Trade Show?" Respondents could select as many of the answers
shown as applied t o their situation – and on average attendees cited 3 of the answers offered. When companies had
multiple respondents, an answer was treated as a "yes" if anyone from the company viewed it as an attendance driver.
None of the respondents stated they felt ob ligated to attend because someone else at the company insisted they go.
We also offered an open - ended "other" option and the responses there were:
• I'm on the Board
• To avoid negative comments by my competition
• To investigate restroom trucks for my next pu rchase
• To meet new people, support PSAI, to learn, see new products, see friends
• To attend Board activities as well as various committee meetings.

We asked people who didn't attend,
"What is the most important reason you
didn't attend the show?" Respondents from
87 companies that didn't attend this year's
Annual Convention and Trade Show
responded to the surv ey. Their reasons for
not attending are varied.
While attendance at WWETT is certainly one
of the more common reasons, it should be
noted that several other answers are nearly
as popular and there is nothing that leaps off
the page as "the big reason."
