W EEKLY EDITION APRIL 11, 2018 Member News: Comforts of Home Services Moves to Upgraded Facility Space PSAI Member Comforts of Home Services, owned by Brad and Cara Martin, have moved to a new manufactu ring facility. The building, with has three times the production floor space of their previous facility, is located in Aurora, Illinois. This location also has an additional room for bringing on new employees. Comforts of Home Services is a family - owned bu siness with three generations currently involved in daily operations. Due to business increases in the restroom trailer industry, owner Brad Martin believes that this move was necessary for "continued growth" as they "develop new, innovative products and f eatures." Member News: Satellite Industries Celebrates 60 Years Sixty years ago, Satellite Industries was made up of a small inventory of wooden restrooms. The company began in 1958 when Al Hilde acted on his dream to create a business that offered private, sanitary restr oom facilities when permanent restrooms were not available. By 1972, thanks to the invention of the "Tufway" (a polyethylene portable restroom), their sales began to boom. 16 years later, in 1988, the company made the move to focus solely on supplying rest rooms, trucks, and deodorizers to other operators, rather than renting units. Today, they supply operators in more than 130 countries with many of their portable restroom needs – and they've never looked back. To celebrate this anniversary, the company g ave away 60 gifts to operators this spring as a thank you for 60 years of continued business. They also created two commemorative t - shirts for purchase that paid homage to their early years. All proceeds from these sales went to Karibu Loo, which many PSAI Members will recognize as our charity of choice from the 2017 PSAI Urgent Run. P AGE 12
