Pay As You Go - Literally A Canadian budget airline has found a way to keep their fares even lower – especially for those with bladders of steel on flights – oh, and happy April Fool s Day! Swoop, Canada's new budget airline launching in June, announced on April 1st that a s part of its unbundled al - a - carte model it will be charging for use of its restrooms. You're free to do whatever it is you do in a flight lavatory for $1 per minute; the door opens to you upon swiping your credit card. It's $0.25 a square of toilet paper unless you want to pay extra for their Swooper - ply ultra soft option, but you can also BYOTP. No need even to worry about embarrassing odors if you're willing to shell out another dollar per spritz of their Swoop Poop spray. This all may seem like a steal, but you may as well just flush $25 down the toilet if you forget to wash your hands, because they're not messing around about hygiene.
