Pay As You Go - Literally
A Canadian budget airline has found a way to keep their fares even
lower – especially for those with bladders of steel on flights – oh,
and happy April Fool s Day!
Swoop, Canada's new budget airline launching in June,
announced on April 1st that a s part of its unbundled al - a - carte
model it will be charging for use of its restrooms. You're free to
do whatever it is you do in a flight lavatory for $1 per minute; the
door opens to you upon swiping your credit card. It's $0.25 a square of toilet paper unless you want to
pay extra for their Swooper - ply ultra soft option, but you can also BYOTP. No need even to worry about
embarrassing odors if you're willing to shell out another dollar per spritz of their Swoop Poop spray.
This all may seem like a steal, but you may as well just flush $25 down the toilet if you forget to wash
your hands, because they're not messing around about hygiene. Check out their Duty Not Free
Explainer Video for more info:

View pictures of some of the world's most lavish
lavatories and top - dollar toilets
If you had millions of dollars, would you turn your
toilet into a throne? According to the following
article, the World Toilet Organization has said that
w e spend three years of our lives in the bathroom.
Does that change your mind? Check out these
pictures of the most expensive toilets in the world. If you think Kim and Kanye's money could be better
spent, what is NASA's problem? A $19 million space toilet? Well, okay, I guess that makes sense. Try
not to get too excited over picture number three. We know it's the same toilet as in the first picture but
it forces one to ponder…how many of us will ever get to share a space with a toilet made of solid gold?
