Portable Sanitation to the Rescue
PSAI Member Sanitech is playing an essential role in the
response to a Cape Town water shortage
In the midst of a major water shortage in Cape Town,
Sanitech of South Africa is spreading the word that
portable toilets can save the day. Managing Director
Robert Erasmus references the impact one local company is making after having their 150 - person staff
switch to portable toilets, which is saving 10,000 liters of water per day. He further advises companies to
include water shortages in their Disaster Recovery Plan, and encourages them to contact Sanitech to
discuss water saving opportunities as Day Zero approaches.
