PSAI Scholarship Application Period Kicks Off Tomorrow!
Up to five students will receive $5,000 scholarship awards for the 2018-19 academic year
Each year the PSAI awards scholarships to individuals in our industry who have made a
commitment to advancing themselves through higher education. Since the program's founding
in 2004, more than 100 college students have received scholarship funds totaling $307,500.
Qualified incoming freshmen and current college undergraduates who are employees or
immediate family members of employees of a PSAI Member company in good standing are
encouraged to apply. Be sure to share this information with your family and company team!
Applications will be accepted from February 1, 2018 to March 15, 2018. Continue

Meet 2018 Convention and Trade Show Speaker #2!
Mark Carpenter, CEO and founder of Mindset Strategic Leadership and Vital Smarts speaker, will round out the
program on Saturday with his session on "Crucial Conversations: Tools for Talking when the Stakes are High,"
followed by his workshop on "Silent Danger: The Five Crucial Conversations That Drive Safety"
In just 49 days, PSAI Members will gather in Portland, Oregon for four days filled with trade
show exhibits, roundtable discussions, social events, and insightful plenary sessions. All of the
excitement will take place from March 21 – March 24 at the Oregon Convention Center.
On Saturday, March 24, Mark Carpenter will take the stage as the final speaker of our 2018
program. In his first session, he will teach attendees how to turn a conversation with a
customer into a completed deal through proper communication. His workshop will follow,
where he will focus on employee safety and how discussing the topic can make all the
difference. No matter your side of the industry, these sessions will help your company.
