The PSAI Service Technician of the Year Award, the MZ "Andy" Gump Award, and the Flay and Glenda Anthony Volunteer of the Year Award honor individuals or groups in three separate cate gories who play an integral role in our industry's success. This is where you come in. The PSAI Awards Committee relies on our Membership for recommendations. Each award is given to an industry professional that has gone above and beyond in the eyes of their peers. Let us know what you've seen! Read more about each award below and consider nominating someone from your company or from your circle of business associates today! PSAI Service Technician of the Year. We are calling all operators to look within their own companies to identify that one service driver you can't do without. Service t echnicians are the heart of a PRO's portable sanitation company. The ones who drive their routes with a positive attitude day in and day out while taking care of your customers with quality service deserve to be recognized. Nominate them for Service Techni cian of the Year! To identify this person, think of who consistently goes beyond what is expected of them. Consider who your customers are raving about. Think of your employee that doesn't sacrifice quality, drives safely, and maintains records effectively . No matter the size of your company, there surely is a service tech that deserves this award. A nomination alone would mean so much to them. Last year's winner, Darrell Phillips was nominated by his coworkers at United Site Services. They had the follow ing to say about why they nominated him: • "Darrell is a model Service Technician who consistently delivers outstanding service." • "He completes his routes 100% each and every day with zero complaints." • "Darrell is very dependable. We have never had any issue s with absence or tardiness." • "If emergencies arrive, he will be the first to offer help, day or night." Do the above sentiments describe an employee of your company? If so, you should undoubtedly nominate that staff member for the 2018 Servic e Technician of the Year Award. PAGE 10 CONTINUED ON PAGE 11
