On the border of Tanzania, it has the highest concentration of land mammals in the country and is overcome with wildlife during the African Great Migration in late July - August. Then head back to Nairobi and stop for scenic vistas of the fertile Great Rift Valley along the way. Arrive and get settled again at the hotel. In the late afternoon, we will reconvene for discussion with some of our program graduates and Karibu Loo staff and learn about their journey. Overnight and dinner at the hotel. DAY 9: Our last full day in Nairobi will be a busy one. In the morning, we will visit a Karibu Loo event to see the tips and trainings provided earlier in the trip in action and provide final feedback. We will then head back to the Dagoretti slum where we will do final student home visits and stop by the Ngong Road Children Association Saturday Program. At 4:00 we will say goodbye to the Karibu Loo staff and will go to the hotel to refresh and eat before going to the airport. You will be on your way home that evening.
