Gear up for the 2018 PSAI Convention and Trade Show in Portland, Oregon on March 21-24, 2018 As Nuts and Bolts 2017 wrapped on November 4, the PSAI readily shifted its focus to the next event: the 2018 Convention and Trade Show. PSAI's Executive Director Karleen Kos invited Members to the 2017 convention at the closing of this year's educational conference. For anyone not in the audience at that time, you should consider this your official invitation to join us in Portland, Oregon on March 21-24, 2018! How Are You Getting Involved for World Portable Sanitation Day? The PSAI's World Portable Sanitation Day and the UN's World Toilet Day are taking place this weekend on November 19 The PSAI announced a new email campaign last week that would raise awareness for World Toilet Day, World Portable Sanitation Day, and for the sanitation crisis as a whole. On Monday, November 13 at 3:00pm ET, all PSAI Members were encouraged to send out the same email to their entire network. The email specifically outlined World Toilet Day 2017, World Portable Sanitation Day, and how portable units play a role in the global sanitation crisis. This pre-written message could be sent to anyone in each Member's network, ranging from colleagues and customers to friends and family. The intention behind the email blast was to spark a conversation all over the world using one voice. So how did we do? Once a Member sent out their emails, they were encouraged to reply to Martin Zeltner and Jennifer Corrigan (the co- chairs of the EI Committee) and let them know how they'd contributed.
