URGENT RUN/WALK 2017 The PSAI is excited to announce a new addition to our Nuts and Bolts Educational Conference for 2017. During the month of November, the PSAI will join with the World Toilet Organization (WTO), the United Nations, and other groups around the world to promote toilet options that help address the global sanitation crisis. To do this, the PSAl will host our first ever Urgent Run/Walk - a "fun run" held to raise funds and awareness for global sanitation needs. These races will take place across the globe in November, including ours in Minneapolis, Minnesota! GET INVOLVED The Urgent Run/Walk is a great way for participants to have fun together, learn how to grow awareness in their communities, and raise funds for a worthy, toilet-related charity. The proceeds from this year's Urgent Run/Walk will benefit Friends of Ngong Road/Karibu Loo. We need your help. Your sponsorship helps us run a cost neutral event so that all participant proceeds can be forwarded to Friends of Ngong Road (FoNR), the parent charity operating Karibu Loo in Nairobi, Kenya. FoNR assists children whose families have been affected by AIDS in completing their schooling, something that is virtually impossible without help. Karibu Loo is a portable restroom operation that helps fund FoNR, and provides employment opportunities for program graduates.
