Canada's Celebration of Confederation is July 1, while the United States will celebrate Independence Day on July 4. As much of our Membership is located in North America, we wish those who are celebrating a safe a nd happy holiday! This also serves as a reminder that the PSAI office will be CLOSED MONDAY, JULY 3 AND TUESDAY, JULY 4. Part II I of III: And The Survey Says… Opinions Vary on Future Conventio ns but Agree on Affinity Programs The PSAI's annual surveys always have more than one goal. In our May 31 issue of Association Insight we reported on how respondents feel the PSAI is meeting their needs. Last week we told you about how respondents' compan ies are doing, and let you know the subjects most on the minds of business leaders in the portable sanitation industry. This week, in the final article of our series on the survey findings, we will tell you about the feedback on two specific areas of inqui ry: the future of the PSAI's Convention and Trade Show and the perceived value of affinity programs the PSAI could offer. Convention dates are a hot topic … but there is no consensus about change. In our post - show wrap up meetings, exhibitors at the 2016 Convention (Charlotte) and the 2017 Convention (Orlando) reported good experiences on the floor, but many advocated for moving the dates of the PSAI show back to the fall.
