W EEKLY EDITION JUNE 21, 2017 P AGE 7 Meet PSAI Scholarship Winner Carson Edwards …continued Unsung Heroes We often say "I love you" and "Thanks" to things we're crazy about But we forget to thank the little things that we just can't live without For example, portable restrooms, they have quite a few It's time we paid them back for all the things they help us do My heart goes out to plastic in which they're all enclosed If it weren't for you, we humans, well… we would be exposed And I couldn't keep my hands c lean without you hand washing foam Plus that little white dispenser in which you call your home Thank you, fragrance disks – you really help our noses And without you chemical porta - packs, bacteria would enclose us Of course there's you toilet paper, you' re soft and you're gracious And even though you may not want to, you help our unmentionable places If it weren't for you trusty air vents, we'd have like no air flow And you know that's a bad thing, when someone's got to "go" We didn't forget about you do or lock – your help is very vital Without you we'd be peeping toms… and no one wants that title And as for you waste tank, we thank the stars you're big And God bless that water in you, I'm sure it hates this gig Perhaps the most important – the service l abel knows Who walks right in, and cleans right up, a true unsung hero You see, it is about the little things and how they help us out But there is a mastermind behind it, and they're who it's really about For every service man and woman who thinks they go unknown You are truly unsung heroes and you are not alone Thank you for everything you do Carson's essay is just one of five well - written pieces that we will continue to run in Association Insight over the next few weeks.
