Reminder: All PSAI Members Invited to Spring Board Meeting in Nassau, Bahamas May 1 – 2, 2017 This year's spring Board meeting and related events will be held in Nassau, Bahamas on May 1 - 2. Whether you are an international Member located in the area – or are simply looking for a great reason to visit the island and combine business with some time on the beach – all PSAI Members are welcome to attend! Hotel reservations should be made at Breezes Resort on Nassau ( click here ). Let K arleen know if you are coming so she can be sure to include you in the counts! Bahamas Itinerary: We will be staying at Breezes Resort ( http://www.breezes.com/ ; 877 - 273 - 3973 or 242 - 327 - 5356). It is a short distance from the headquarters of Bahama's Waste Ltd, our host company. Rooms are filling up fast, so please make your reservations ASAP if you are going to be attending ! Rates are all inclusive – meaning food, drinks, and tips are built into the cost, as well as access to the property's facilities and a menities. For more information on that, check out the Breezes website. Monday, May 1 • Please plan to gather for dinner together on the evening of Monday, May 1, at Breezes. Our hosts from Bahamas Waste will be joining us and we'll learn more about the day ahead on Tuesday. Tuesday, May 2 • On Tuesday morning, May 2, we are scheduled to be at Bahamas Waste at 8:00am. Company leaders plan to spend the morning showing us around their business and taking us on our tour of several customer locations so we can see how the industry works on the island. • After our morning tour, we will return to Breezes for our lunch (included in our room prices). • The Board will meet at 2:00 EDT in a meeting room provided by Bahamas Waste. Big thanks to Franny and Ethelyn for making t he space available to the PSAI! • After the Board meeting on Tuesday everyone is free to "do your own thing." • A group will gather for dinner or possibly take in a FIFA World Championship Beach Soccer game. A taxi journey from the airport will cost roughly $20 - $25 depending on the number of passengers. Please bring cash as taxis in the Bahamas do not accept debit or credit cards. You may wish to bring some smaller bills to tip luggage attendants – should you decide to utilize this service – at the airport.
