Welcome to the PSAI Annual Convention and Trade Show! March 15 - 18, 2017 Starting today, attendees are gathering in Orlando, Florida for the 2017 PSAI Convention and Trade Show. With a schedule including informative speakers, productive roundtable discu ssions, and plenty of dedicated time to walk the trade show floor, the event is set to be better than ever – and we're already off to a great start! Take a look at the first photos as the event gets started, and check back next week for a recap of all of t he fun. WEEKLY EDITION March 15, 2017 Before exhibitors and attendees began arriving, the Board was already hard at work. They gathered on Tuesday for orientation of new Board members and planning for the coming year. CONTINUED ON PAGE 2 No krypton could slow us down on the way to the 2017 Convention and Trade Show! The PSAI staff (l - r Jan Nelson, Karleen Kos, and Rachel Johnson) stopped in Superman's home town of Metropolis, Illinois, on their way from Minneapolis to Orlando. Comic book S uperman stayed behind, and we're now at the Caribe Royale ready to meet all the super men and women of the portable sanitation industry. Top right: New Board Member James Baxter, Baird's Septic, (left) joined a table including Jake Groen, PolyJohn Canada; David Harling, Ameri - Can Engineering; and Nancy Gump, Andy Gump Co; in a discussion concerning the updated PSAI Governance and Operating Manual. Middle right: Tim Petersen, Northwest Cascade/HoneyBucket (left) and Jennifer Corrigan (right) served as scribes for their tables as the Board discussed operational priorities for the coming fiscal year. On Wed nesday the PSAI's Committees will receive direction from the Board regarding projects on which the Board would like the committees to focus. Bottom right: After a long afternoon of work, the Board and its guests enjoyed a relaxing dinner together.
