More on the Portable Restroom Inauguration Issue
Washington D.C. Operator Member,
Don's Johns, faced frustration as their
logos were being taped over in
preparation for Donald Trump's
presidential inauguration last week.
We mentioned last week how
Operator Member Don's Johns found
it odd that the Architect of the Capitol
office had called fo r tape to be
placed over their logo in preparation
for the presidential inauguration – an
event they had serviced in 2009 and
2013, as well as 2017. Robert Weghorst, C.O.O. for Don's Johns, appeared on CNBC last week to
discuss the interesting issue, where he also was able to educate the anchors and viewers on some of the
requirements of the portable sanitation industry. There is an unavoidable commercial as the video
begins, but click below to view the clip!

On a note unrelated to inauguration coverage, Operator
Member Don's Johns has acquired fellow PSAI Operator
Member, Gene's Johns.
In last week's newsletter, we covered Don's Johns interesting inaugur ation issue, with continued
coverage shown above. It was in that article that we mentioned Gene's Johns as Don's Johns competitor
– a fellow PSAI Operator Member that also serviced the Washington D.C. area. However, as of
yesterday, Don's Johns announced t hat they have acquired both Blue Ribbon Restroom Trailers, as well
as former competitor Gene's Johns.
Blue Ribbon is a provider of luxury restroom trailers, while Gene's Johns has been a portable sanitation
provider for over 25 years. This deal unites th ree of the largest independent providers in the D.C.,
Maryland and Virginia area. Both are family owned and operated, "with each bringing core values that
align with the Don's Johns principles."
